An Understated Luxury Hotel: Fairmont Heritage Place Residences - San Francisco Honeymoon, Rooftop Wedding Venue, Proposal Spot.

A recent trip to San Francisco inspired this post on the perfect honeymoon spot for the couple that loves having a hundred and one options. We loved The Fairmont Heritage Place so much this was our second stay and we asked for the same suite we had before because we LOVED it that much!!An all-suite luxury boutique residence hotel in Ghiradelli Square – The Fairmont Heritage will give you a sweet piece of serenity in this exciting city.  Perfect for Honeymoon couple wanting to experience all San Francisco has to offer.  My favorite part of the residence suite was the living room sitting area with blue armchairs and expansive windows to take in the views. Newlyweds will be charmed by how the residences are built into the brick city landmark in Ghiradelli Square part of which used to be the Ghiradelli Chocolate factory.  The rooftop deck  and fire area is truly a romantic spot to enjoy a night cap, not a bad spot to pop the question or proposal. The rooftop deck can easily accommodate an intimate small wedding or elopement. The Fairmont offered a delicious complimentary buffet breakfast every morning and afternoon wine and cheese. Other amenities include fitness center, superb concierge, valet, and a house car that was available as your personal uber throughout your stay.San Francisco has an infinite number of sight-seeing gems including the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge where couples can rent bikes to cycle across the bridge. Coit tower has incredible 360 degree views of the city and bay. Union Square with its bustling shops, restaurants and bars offer a vibrant night life and during the winter months the center of the square is transformed into a magical outdoor ice rink.  San Francisco Museum of Modern Art never disappoints with is ultra cool interactive exhibits. Yerba Buena Gardens includes the expansive Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial with waterfall and beautiful quotes by Dr. King.  However; there are also some roads less traveled such as the Muir Woods National Park for incredible hikes through the redwoods or The Church of 8 Wheels – church turned roller disco!  Foodies will be in restaurant bliss with all the city has to offer from the eclectic eateries inside The Ferry Building food hall to fine dining restaurants. Not to mention the famous wineries of Napa Valley are only an hour commute from the city.
