Fashion Island Hotel - Newport Beach Wedding Venue

I had the luxury of little staycation at the Fashion Island Hotel in Orange County this past summer. This is the perfect Newport Beach wedding venue for the bride looking for luxury and accessibility in one location. It is right across the street from Fashion Island Mall, an open air luxury shopping and dining destination. It is also minutes from the beautiful beaches of Newport Coast and Crystal Cove. Not to mention that Lido in Newport and Balboa Island are also super close for more fun shopping and entertainment options including yacht rentals and duffy boats. If you are considering having a destination wedding in Newport Beach - this is the perfect Newport Beach wedding venue for your guests. There is so much to do near by and so many amenities offered on property.The hotel boasts 20 floors of guest rooms and suites with stunning views.  Larger suites are perfect for getting ready with your bridesmaids or groomsmen on wedding day.  The Island Club - a private lounge - sits on the top floor offering panoramic views of the pacific ocean and Newport Beach - all day coffee and tea, light breakfast and afternoon wine. My favorite part of having club access was the pretty sweet jars of candy spread out for late afternoon sugar cravings.Fashion Island hotel offers many wedding venue spaces and meeting rooms but my top 2 choices are the - Cabana Room and Terrace, ideal for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, accommodating up to 130 for a seated dinner. This Newport Beach wedding venue can also be used for bridal showers, corporate events, anniversaries or a milestone birthday bash! The Ballroom is the largest venue on property - accommodating 600 guests for a seated dinner. Perfect for Indian Weddings, Persian Weddings or other large ethnic weddings as well as large corporate events. The best part - is that the ballroom can be divided into separate spaces to fit both ceremony and reception in one ballroom with ample pre-fucntion space for cocktail hour.Lucky for me I was visiting in July so had a chance to visit the pool and spa on property. Super friendly staff and towel service and you can order food or drinks off their poolside bar. I couldn't leave without trying out the Oak Grill Restaurant for a late dinner. Excellent service, food and cocktails! Save room for the Pineapple Butter Cake!
