It is our absolute pleasure to brag a little bit about the location of our upcoming luxury bridal show on August 3rd, 2014 - the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) in Newport Beach! There are many chic, wedding event-worthy locations in Orange County, but what sets  OCMA apart is that it's not only visually stunning, but endlessly inspiring. The museum is home to nearly 3,000 objects of modern and contemporary art, with a focus on the art of California from the early 20th century to works by local, national, and international artists working today.  (A little added bonus - they are smack dab across the street from one of the prime luxury shopping destinations ever! --Fashion Island Newport Beach.) Founded in 1962, the museum was built by thirteen dynamic women with a vision to "build a destination museum that is locally relevant and internationally significant."

 

The museum is recognized for organizing important exhibitions of contemporary art, including the first surveys of Vija Celmins (1980), as well as hosting important exhibitions of modern art and design such as Picasso to Pollock: Modern Masterpieces from the Wadsworth Athenaeum Museum of Art (2004).
