Is black the new white?

Ok, question of the day: would you wear a black wedding dress? Like many, many trends Sarah Jessica Parker started it off by wearing a black wedding dress when she married Matthew Broderick (ok, she probably wasn't the first...) in 1997. She looked gorgeous of course!But since then, black wedding dresses have truly become more and more popular as they are now regularly stocked in bridal boutiques and can be found at select trunk shows. Vera Wang presented a nearly all black wedding dress collection for Fall 2012, from which Shenae Grimes wore a gown for her wedding earlier this year. And most recently Avril Lavigne wed in a black Monique Lhuillier gown over the weekend. What do you think of this trend?
