01 Apr Something Lovely Weddings and Monarch Beach Resort’s Brides Focus Group Luncheon
We loved meeting all the new brides-to-be at our yearly brides luncheon this past weekend! Bride’s met up in the main lobby to start their tour of the resort and ended their tour at Club 19. The venue this year was incredible – Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point has everything you could want for the perfect So Cal wedding venue. The AAA Five Diamond Resort is perched hillside with panoramic ocean views. Our luncheon was in prime spot many may not have seen before – Club 19 Terrace. Though the resort has some incredible ballrooms that will accommodate large weddings we were able to enjoy our bridal lunch from the upper terrace of Club 19 with expansive golf course views and ocean front. Thanks to KLK Photography we have some pretty sweet images to share of all the details and the view!!
Club 19 terrace is fully covered on top, with stunning fireplace and luxury white columns framing ocean and course views. Monarch Beach is the perfect wedding venue to experience Southern California’s indoor/outdoor living . The terrace is attached to an enclosed space when it’s time to move the party in for dancing the night away with full bar and big screen tv’s.
We had some of the best of the best vendors to help create the perfect pink palette – La Tavola Linens sponsored table linens and napkins. We picked out Bubbly in Ballet Pink for our long brunch table and Tuscany pink napkins for the place settings! They went perfectly with our floral designs from Roger’s Gardens which also does weddings here in Orange County. We asked for shades of pink roses, white and pops of bubblegum pink. All the florals were in rose gold vessels we had a few pops of the bubblegum pink in glass bud vases. Chiavari Chair Rentals sposored the Rose Gold Chiavari chairs which really helped tie in the color palette – they also draped the ceiling in ivory and added a few crystal chandeliers to create a truly special space. All our place settings were adorned with lovely paper flower details from Bleu Dahlia in a nude pink with gold centers.
After an amazing lunch and dessert by Monarch Beach all the brides took home incredible gift bags valued at over $150. Each lovely bride to be took home a Best Day Ever bracelet by MantraBand. Soul Cycle Newport Beach treated each bride to a free ride at their Fashion Island location. Jo Malone London included fragrance swag for each bride-to-be. Monarch Beach Resort gave each attendee the cutest kitchen cutting board shaped like a surf board. Newly engaged brides received some sweet treats too – like Sprinkles Cupcakes mini set of three wedding themed cupcakes and Brazilian chocolates by BomBom Brigadeiros in Newport Beach. More gift bag sponsors included Bloomingdale’s SouthCoast, The White Dress in Corona del Mar, We Olive, Flutter Magazine and big thank you to Kendra Scott Century City for their stunning wedding jewelry raffle prizes. All the brides won something!!
